Field Notes

Description:

This Hemiptera belongs to the family Membracidae. Its almost all black with some marks in white dorsally and at the front.
Its eyes seems to be protected by a transparent cover. It seems that they imitate a thorn.

Habitat:

I have seen it all the times in San Isidro, Ribera Norte reserve. This is a forest related with the Parana River basin. They al always in the shrubs.
