Field Notes

Description:

Large butterflies with black and yellow markings. There were actually 3 of them flying closely together never stopping and feeding high in a tree. This was the clearest picture I got using 1/4000 sec. shutter speed.

Habitat:

Spotted at the National Butterfly Center in Mission, Texas.
