Field Notes

Description:

Medium sized wallaby doe (female) tan with cream chest and underbelly. Notice her pouch is bulging with a joey. Dark marking from nose to eye.

Habitat:

Very common, but shy and nervous, across the Kimberley and Northern Australia in grasslands and woodlands.

Notes:

I see these frequently but its very difficult to get a decent shot. They stood still long enough for a decent shot today.
