Notes:

This common blackbird can be seen at marshes and lakes throughout North America. I have woken up at campouts to flocks of hundreds of these birds flying out of the reeds. They have a metallic and gurgling call that sounds like “Conkaree!” The similar Tricolored Blackbird has white instead of yellow on the wings.
