Habitat:

Campsite in aspen dominated riparian woodland at 7,500 ft.

Notes:

This is a female. The male is glossy purple/black and has a yellow eye. These birds are also very common in parking lots, shopping malls, and amusement parks to name a few places. They have learned to scavenge from humans.
