Description:

I need a little help identifying this skink. I saw this guy one hour north outside of Beijing. Im not very good at identifying reptiles, and so far my best guess would be Eutropis something :)

Hello. I've spent quite some time on this but I'm still not sure. But that being the case I'm going to jot down a few things. Here is a spotting that looks like yours http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/22768099 and they're calling it Eumeces chinensis (=Plestiodon chinensis). Here is a link for that species http://www.natureswindow.dk/Eumeces%20chinensis.html which looks like several other links for that species. But to me it doesn't quite fit yours or the other spotting. I was also looking at Scincella sp. but I can't commit to that either. Sorry I could not provide you any certainty.
