Field Notes

Description:

A brown moth with tinges of red and a wing span of about 25 mm. Had thin black scalloped markings with pale margins in the submarginal area. legs were banded. Antennae swept back over the body.

Habitat:

Spotted under bright lights near a sports field surrounded by naive trees. Suburban gardens near by.
