Field Notes

Description:

A grey felty moth with thin black, brown and white wavy lines on the upper side of both fore- and hind-wings.
Wing span of about 30 mm. Antennae held out.

Habitat:

Spotted under bright lights - near mixed native trees.

Notes:

Larvae are said to prefer Fabaceae ( like Lucerne) and also seen to feed on Spearmint and Monterey Pine.
