Field Notes

Habitat:

Found on the ceiling outside our back door.

Notes:

Did not see a wasp doing this but two chambers were opened at 5:22 pm. At 6:31 this banana spider. Not moving and caught in the web of a Common House Spider that is adjacent to the mud nest. The head of another spider can be seen inside the left chamber. I think the spider was either not stunned adequately and crawled out or was dropped by the Blue Mud-dauber Wasp.
