Habitat:

Canal/deciduous habitat

Notes:

I found this tiny caterpillar on a velvet-bean plant pod. I know there is a velvetbean caterpillar (Anticarsia gemmatalis), but could not find enough examples to make a decision.

Yeah Jemma, I'm still stumped on is one. I've come across some hunches, but none that are positive matches.
Beautiful composition Bill, these are great! :)
Thank you so much Leonardo! Much appreciated!
What a beautiful crystal clear composition, by the way. Very well done! Thanks for sharing, beaker!
Karen and Jemma, thanks for the compliments:)
That is the exact link that I had found that made me think it could be. I should have disturbed the little guy to get a peek at its head. Thanks for the suggestion.
May be. It has the lateral stripe, and the bumps. Looks similar to this one: http://entnemdept.ufl.edu/creatures/field/velvetbean.htm
