Field Notes
Description:
Densely clustered tan mushrooms with brown to tan gills. The caps were textured, like old velvet. The margins of the mushrooms were wavy and many were cracking at the edges.
Habitat:
Growing on the edges of logs and in the cracks between the bark. I think the log was oak. At the edge of Robinson woods, near a field.
