Field Notes

Description:

Black snake speckled with white all over the body. The speckles can be varying shades of white, yellow, and orange, but in the area this guy was found they tend to be white. About 4 ft in length. Harmless to humans, and these are called king snakes because their diet mostly consists of other snakes.

Habitat:

Found crawling on the ground in thick oak forest early in the morning.
