Field Notes

Habitat:

Found on a Mulberry leaf.

Notes:

This moth was laying its eggs on the upper side of a leaf. I'd never seen one laying eggs before probably because they usually lay their eggs on the underside of the leaf. Every year this Mulberry has an abundance of their larval webs. The hairs seen on the eggs are scales from the moth that she sheds.
