Green Heron

Not great pictures, I know. This tiny, round bird was perched on a rock in this turtle pond. It was gray with some black feathers and a white chest. Some small tail feathers stuck out and down in the back, and it had a very flat head with a wonderfully long beak! It stood completely still.
