Field Notes

Description:

The one in the first three photos was grooming its face, the other one appeared to be resting while floating in a calm area. In the last photo you can see its rather large feet. Video of the one rubbing its cheeks: https://youtu.be/Fy-c8BisCao

Habitat:

Boat harbor with lots of commercial fishing vessels

Notes:

They don't look that large unless you have the rare opportunity to see one on land. The males can even get close to a hundred pounds!
