Description:

Large Tachinid Fly about 1.5 cm long, which made itself look even larger by spreading its legs fully to the side when at rest. Family Tachinidae. Almost all species of this family are parasitoids of other arthropods.

Habitat:

On the wall of the toll Booth, Highway to Arriaga, Chiapas on the border of the Sepultura Biosfera Reserve.
