Description:

Some type of Sphinx...I get lots of them...Found it in the fence of my house in the daytime but resting.

Habitat:

Gallery Forest. 900 Meters-3000 feet above sea level, next to Tanaca National Park, a Pasture , and in a Garden with Endemic trees, plants and flowers of Costa Rica.

Note the reddish, double-lined bow and yellowish patch on the forewing. I could see these markings only in Oenotrus.
