Field Notes
Description:
A very small attractive brown moth with a wing span of 15 mm. It seemed to rest with its wings tented showing a scattering of deep rich red spots with white outlines. The largest of these spots was on the middle of each fore wing's e inner margin and when at rest these spots looked like a transverse band of red. <br>
The spots at the base of the wings coloured an erectile tuft.
Habitat:
Spotted under bright garden lights - warm night
Notes:
Larvae of these species were found feeding on Myrtaceae. <br>
