Field Notes

Description:

Introduced species to North America from Europe, which unfortunately has caused problems for the native bird species.

Habitat:

Alder tree in backyard of small apt complex

Notes:

Kate writes: The song one of them was singing is what drew my attention. I did not expect the bird to be a starling because it was quite a pretty song! Chris said starlings can mimic the songs of other birds.
