Notes:

Limacodidae. Phobetron hipparchia: Com o corpo coberto de cerdas, essa espécie apresenta dimorfismo sexual quando adulto, e sua larva pode apresentar coloração amarela, cinza ou marrom, independentemente do sexo. Alimenta-se raspando a superfície das folhas, terminando por construir um casulo de seda no momento final do seu desenvolvimento, onde empupa. thank you for all your kind comments. it is small and emerged in my house. I found the pupa on a chestnut tree. Pupa posted on 28/06. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/422266024 more http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/501896020 I think this is a male. I really do not know if things seen in the fifth photo is a male genitalia.
