Description:

Seed capsules. Subglobose; ca. 0.25 inches diameter; will split along the sutures from the apex to the base to release seed.

Habitat:

Growing leaf litter in predominantly deciduous woods.

Notes:

The seed capsules are erect compared with the flowers which nod.
