Field Notes

Description:

This small jellyfish has a milky white color, a small rounded bell, and tentacles.

Habitat:

It was floating with many others in the shallow warm water right by the shore.

Notes:

There were quite a few of these jellyfish by the shore, and some stranded on the beach.

Please note: I captured this jellyfish for photography purposes. It was released alive and as far as I could tell unharmed back where I found it.
