Thanks Janet! It sort of appears to be a juvenile of this type: http://bugguide.net/node/view/621782/bgimage
As I said it's the only thing I came up with. Maybe someone can find better. http://bugguide.net/node/view/1957/bgimage
Thanks Janet! Could you provide a reference link? I could not find a similar spider on the Internet, although I do know Misumena vatia is quite variable.
Might be a young Goldenrod Crab Spider Misumena vatia
I am so sorry, I found her while I was away from home, and let her go...I am quite sorry!
Put her on a plant and you will see her growing up, eating it's an amazing experience. And let's know .... About this "baby"
Okay, thanks carla! Any specific species? I couldn't find any looking on the internet...
Thanks gatorfellows! The spider seemed to spin a web to go anywhere.
Hi, there are small green spiders in Genus Araneus; orb weaver. that have the characteristics of your past spider. If it spun an orb web, you might start there with a New York reference book.
That is so sad Carla! Did you ever find out what type it way?
I had one like this, on my window for almost 8 month, was lovely observing her... They are beatiful, suddenly one day became more brown and smaller, and dye... Was a sad day for me.
Thanks NatureRobin! Same here, terrified of many spiders, but like the cute ones! :)
I'm not a huge fan of spiders, but I have to say it's adorable!
