Field Notes

Description:

Medium sized land turtle/tortoise. Shell length approx. 5 inches. Did not come out of it's shell while being observed.

Habitat:

Found in the middle of the road (!) on Park Ridge Road on the edge of Mammoth Cave National Park. Moved to the edge of the road for its own safety.
