Beetle

Looking at the orange patch it "must" be a Picnic Beetle, Glischrochilus fasciatus: http://bugguide.net/node/view/778986/bgimage But I do not like the shape and colors/markings of the pronotum behind the head. Souldn't it be more rounded and black for a picnic?? I have seen the "flag-like" tibiae in others, and some stronger femurs, but yours are really thick ones (I certainly mean the ones of your beetle! ;-)...). The antennae would also match. I still would tend to Glischrochilus fasciatus, but still with some confusion (which actually does not mean much).
