Description:

The Palm King is usually found in the vicinity of coconut palm (Cocos nucifera) groves.The butterfly is crepuscular in habit, and is often attracted to the lights of houses and also observed feeding on rotting fruits, sap of trees and forest litter at times, and is quite often seen in gardens, feeding on the flowers of the Torch Ginger (Etlingera elatior)
