Field Notes

Description:

Large, heavy bodied water snake. Pattern fades to dark gray-green as they age. They seem to be more aggressive in the water than when they're on land. They are very slow, for a snake, on land.

Habitat:

Near water.

Notes:

In the third shot, you can clearly see the tube they use to breathe when they are eating.
