Field Notes

Description:

A tall wading bird. It is all white with long black legs and feet. The bill is yellow orange. In flight the long neck is tucked in and the legs extend well past the short tail.

Habitat:

Loudly complaining as it went from the edge of the pond to the trees. Fisherman and boardwalk visitors were disturbing its fishing.
