Description:

White cheese polypore has a soft, watery, white, hairy to smooth, stalkless cap with whitish pores. Found throughout North America on dead deciduous wood.

Habitat:

This white cheese polypore was spotted on a dead log in the woods at a state park in Baltimore, Maryland.
