Field Notes

Description:

The tree had thin branches with small green leaves. The stem was gray and tall. The leaves were soft with hard apple seeds hanging on the ends of them.

Habitat:

The tree was growing near a pond. Because of that, the tree is more likely to be well nourished since the area is a wet climate, the roots are supplied with a lot of water. Grass is growing near the tree because they are weeds which means that they will never stop growing unless you kill them with chemicals because they are naturally not supposed to stop growing.

Notes:

I found the fruit tree near a pond on October 3, 2018.
