Description:

I believe these are two different mushrooms. One wish a smooth down pointing cap and tall thin stem and the other flatter with more exposed black spores.

Habitat:

Gentle slopes on Orcas Island in the San Juans, Washington. Near Ceder trees and Blackberry brambles.
