At Mount Everest base camp.

Notes:

Yak's are very common in this region and are used for their fur, milk, meat and for farming.

I have a children's book with a Yak in it so I appreciate seeing a picture of the real thing!
They used also as load carrying vehicle in mountaineering in Ladakh and Nepal.
