Species ID Suggestions

Comments (4)

Thanks for the help. I have a short video trying to take a picture of it, since they are pretty fast.
I am not a snake expert BUT if you are UNSURE about the ID, I suggest you simply put Snake as the common name and tick the box asking for help with the ID.
Hello androide017, Welcome to Project Noah. This is a site dedicated to wildlife; so you can share photos that you have taken of wildlife and engage with the PN community. Please do not take photos from the Internet or from others without permission. Please also try not to post photos of your pets or other domesticated animals. You have a nice first spotting. Do write something in all the boxes especially where you saw it (Habitat). Borikenophis portoricensis is the scientific name of the Puerto Rican racer snake. You can use the Edit this Spotting Option to fill in the boxes and complete the spotting. For future spottings, if you do not know the name of the species you have photographed I am sure someone will be around soon to help you ID the spotting. Enjoy the site. Keep posting. Have fun. See you around. Welcome, again.
Correct me if I am wrong. I thought it was a Garter Snake
