Field Notes

Description:

It looks like it's eating. But I have seen worms like these that make these gestures as they try to jump from one leaf to another.

Habitat:

Spotted in a humid environment along the trail of Mt. Talinis.

Species ID Suggestions

That's what I thought John. The photo alone is vague, only the colors are clear. Hopefully, I can spot this again in the future when I have my telephoto lens.
This one might be rather difficult to identify because (as sometimes happens to all of us) your photo is not very clear. If someone has a caterpillar like this which they have already ID'd, they might recognise the general colours and be able to help, but I think it might be too difficult to search for this one, based on your photo alone. It often helps if you know the kind of plant the caterpillar is eating because you can then search online for butterfly or moth species which use that particular plant as a "host plant".
