Makes it's nests on the ground, ussualy in wetlands.

i got confused, african marsh harrier is quite common (this is not an african marsh harrier, ill change it), its the black harrier that is rare Marsh Harrier: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/African_Marsh_Harrier (thats my friend holding the bird:) ) Black harrier: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_Harrier
Seen quite a few up the west coast, along with lots of yellow billed kites and a small grey bird of prey that I think might be a kestrel of sorts...
