Boy it seems like there is a lot to id'ing a moth. Thanks StirredMocha! I'm new here..and to all of this... I googled tiger moth any idea what the difference between Grammia parthenice and Virgin Tiger Moth - Grammia virgo is? I live in North Carolina if that matters?
Looks like a Apantesis sp. Tiger moth.
