Field Notes

Description:

Greyish warbler with a black cap on the male and a reddish-brown cap on the female.

Habitat:

Spends the winters in and around our garden, eating figs and olives and bathing and drinking at the fishpond but disappears for the summer.

Notes:

The pair of Blackcaps at the water were photographed on 16 January 2011.
