It is a small sphinx moth compared to the other sphinx moths found in this area.This moth has slender wings with black zigzags and grey patterns through the wings.The hindwings are black with some grey.

Habitat:

urban parks and forested areas/woodlands

Notes:

attracted to a mercury vapor lamp
