Field Notes

Description:

An Ichneumon, I think. Thin wasp with an elongated body. Black thorax and head. Abdoomen 2/3 orange with the last 1/3 black. Front two pair of legs are mostly orange with some black near the body. Hind pair all black. Long antennae.

Habitat:

Suburban garden.
