Description:

Es de hábito anual o bienal, alcanza 3-8 dm de altura, con hojas caulinares, con pequeñas espinas en sus márgenes, de color verde que envuelven el tallo, débilmente dentadas y con segmentos laterales. Los capítulos florales se agrupan en corimbos y son de color amarillo. El fruto es un aquenio plateado.

Habitat:

Es una invasora, y se comporta como maleza. Origen Asia, África del norte; Europa.
