Description:
Cap, approximately 1 inch diameter with prominent scales. Stem, ca 1.5 inches long and 0.3 inches diameter, also with scales extending along its entire length.
Spore print, white. Spores globose, ca. 4-5µ diameter.
Habitat:
Growing alone or in small clusters on fallen Loblolly pine (Pinus taeda) log.
