Description:

A strange, very scaly and hairy moth with an orange crest. From a short distance it looks like a bird dropping and up close, it looks like a fish. About 1 cm long.

Habitat:

Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
