Description:

Zinnia. Zinnia is one of the easiest annuals to grow. Looks absolutely wonderful in flower beds. Attracts butterflies and makes perfect cut flowers. Comes in many colors. There are about 20 species of annual plants of the family Asteraceae. Native to North America with one species extending to South America.

Habitat:

These zinnia were spotted in a beautiful flower garden at Hillwood Gardens in Washington, DC.
