Habitat:

Forest area of the Washington Park Arboretum.

Notes:

All of them were on what I think are Salal leaves. They were very small and in clusters on the underside of the leaves. Under the clusters, the leaves were white, like a powdery mildew.

Thank you Ravi, this is very interesting. I guess the white stuff is mold which is a cause of the whiteflies.
The whiteflies have been a big problem in our garden. They attack many varieties of plants :-(
