Medium-sized to large hawk. Wings and tail striped black and white.
Underparts barred reddish. Pale crescent near wingtips in flight.
this is a pale form from Florida

Habitat:

woodlands, wooded swamps, canyons, rivers and residential areas

Notes:

Bird is in a Cypress tree
