Egyptian cotton leafworm is one of the many species of genus Spodoptera and family Noctuidae. . littoralis is found widely in Africa, Mediterranean Europe and Middle Eastern countries. It is a highly polyphagous organism that is a pest of many cultivated plants and crops.
