Description:

Ariadne albifascia, the White-banded Castor, is a butterfly in the Nymphalidae family.

Habitat:

This species is found along roadsides in forested habitats, and also in clearings, along riverbanks, and on agricultural land.
The habitat consists of forests, especially open degraded habitats.
