Species ID Suggestions

Cactus

Opuntia

I have to agree with Francie, I live in Arizona, and have seen a lot, from the way it seems to be, I have to agree, seems to be a form of prickly pear. A big help would be if it has white flowers, that turn into a purple fruit, and, almost, spiked. That from my experience would mean prickly pear.
I accidentally did a thumbs up for the suggested ID. Obviously it's a cactus but more than that it looks like a prickly pear.
