Field Notes

Description:

On a small stump in underbrush, uphill from a creek. About 10 specimens. I couldn't get a spore print, the specimens were too old I think. I'm sorry the underside photo is much clearer than the top.

Habitat:

Dead logs and stumps.

Species ID Suggestions

Thanks, MilesBerkey. I'll go with the original Oyster guess then.
Oysters grow on deciduous stumbs, logs and snags. Angel Wings grows on coniferous substrates. I just collected allot of Angel Wings last weekend.
