Description:

American Bullfrog spotted in a marshy area of the Mount Pisgah Arboretum, near Springfield, Oregon. Any help identifying would be greatly appreciated.

No problem! They can have some variation in color, all of your images are very nice.
You know, with the unique markings I wasn't sure if they were different species or not. But after looking into it I am sure you are right. Especially after reading an article which stated juveniles "chirp" then retreat into the water when startled. This was definitely the case. Thanks once again!
